Day 1: Casablanca – Meknes – Volubilis and Fes.

Begin your 8-day desert tour upon arrival at Casablanca Airport. Start with a visit to the iconic Hassan II Mosque and enjoy a delicious meal at the renowned Rick’s Café. Proceed toward Fes, stopping by the ancient Roman city of Volubilis and the imperial city of Meknes.
At Volubilis, admire age-old mosaics and well-preserved ruins. End the day with a restful night in your selected Riad/Hotel, setting the tone for an exciting journey ahead.

Day 2: Discover Fes city.

Start your morning with breakfast at the Riad, then dive into the cultural core of Morocco—Fes. Navigate narrow lanes starting from the Royal Palace, and continue to the Jewish Quarter, home to Morocco’s earliest Mellah.
Gain a deep understanding of local history with visits to the Al Quaraouiyine University and the age-old Tanneries. After lunch, tour a traditional pottery workshop and admire panoramic views of Fes’ medina. Unwind later in the modern part of the city with overnight lodging in the Riad.

Day 3: Fes – Ifrane – Azrou – Ziz Valley – Merzouga.

After breakfast, depart toward Merzouga through enchanting scenery. Make a stop at Ifrane, often called the “Switzerland of Morocco,” before venturing into Azrou’s cedar forests where Barbary macaques roam freely.
As you reach Errachidia, witness the transition to the verdant Ziz Valley with breathtaking lookouts. Spend the evening at your selected hotel or riad.

Day 4: Merzouga Desert and Camel Trek.

As daylight brightens the desert, explore Merzouga’s surroundings. Visit the Gnawa community for their music and customs, and admire the tranquil Merzouga Lake.
Later, embark on a camel trek into the spellbinding Erg Chebbi dunes and settle into your desert camp for an atmospheric night beneath the stars.

Day 5: Merzouga – Todra Gorges – Dades Gorges.
